CS Review

From K-Wiki

This is the process by which Character Sheets are approved for use in the Kaerwyn RP.

Note for Reviewers:

1. Approvals should be listed as a straightforward "Approval" or "Approved" only.

They should not be put in sentences or questions. You can put "Op" or "Voice" with the number of Approvals to indicate your station if you wish. Example: "Op Approval 1" or "Voice Approval 2"

2. Do not put Approvals in "If, then" style statements, this is not an approval:

If these concerns are addressed, then you get my Approval.

3. Do not put Approvals in sentences like:

Does anyone else think this deserves my Voice Approval?

4. Approvals should not have conditions put on them:

If you do X, you get my Approval.

5. Approvals should be straightforward and easy to understand, not ambiguous such as:

Well I suppose this gets my Approval.

6. Do not rubberstamp approvals.

Approvals should only be given after a careful review. Players should read the entire CS and judge whether is it ready for Kaerwyn. Do not give an approval because someone is your friend, or because you simply trust the other reviewers. We use this system so each reviewer has the chance to correct errors.

Note for all characters under review:

Any prior approvals will be voided if major revisions are made after the approval has been given. By major revisions we mean significant changes in the backstory, skills, GTS score and items on the character.

Please keep in mind that Ops do have the authority to override or strike approvals on any CS.

Mundane Characters

Requires: One of the following situations:

  • 3 Veteran Approvals
  • 2 Op Approvals
  • 2 Vets/1 Op approvals

Non-Mundane 30 or below GTS Characters

  • 2 Op Approvals
  • 2 Vets/1 Op approvals

Non-Mundane 30+ GTS Characters

  • 2 Vet/2 Op approvals

Op must have final approval.

Biodiversity Sheets

Requires: One of the following situations:

  • 2 Veteran Approvals

If the creature has any metaphysical abilities (magic, etc) it may need an op's final approval.

High scoring, disruptive, or IC affecting sheets will require at least one op approval.

Faction Characters

Requires: One of the following situations:

  • 2 Op Approvals
  • 2 Vets/1 Op approvals

Temporary Plot Characters

Requires: 1 Op Approval

These are for plot characters that will only be around for the duration of a plot or for temporary plot purposes (They can be repeating plot characters, such as a villian that comes and goes). Should the player wish to make them permanent characters they will need to abide by the requirements for that character's category as listed above.
